Individuality breeds creativity, isolation breeds dissent. With success comes the acceptance of failure.

It was not interesting to examine the life of this particular individual, mostly because he decided to dwell in inconspicuous locations, surrounded by heaps of obsolete surveillance technology wired to various closed circuit cameras surrounding the perimeter of his immediate location. He was extremely paranoid, and chose only to associate himself with the occasional person and/or family member. He had reasoned that the majority of people in the ‘outside world’ were concerned only with attempting to sell him useless products via solicitation or to vandalize his home. There was no direct explanation for this, other than the fact that he spoke vaguely of some time when children has assailed his front window with rotten eggs on Halloween. It did not occur to him that such an activity was common practice on Halloween and that perhaps he had taken the incident a little too far. Sometimes it’s worth pursuing certain instances of injustice in order to reach a higher light. This, however, was not one of those circumstances, insomuch there should be no reason to delve into the realms of paranoid contemplation over tasteless holiday pranks.
He was a fat man, and perhaps the reasoning behind his excessive girth lied in the fact that life within his own body was essentially useless. It was within the uncharted realms of cyberspace and satellite television that he chose to project his consciousness into, and all matters concerning physical fitness and social interaction were to him foreign entities that conjured blank, confused situations in his deteriorating imagination.
I had initiated contact with this person simply to obtain a screwdriver, and when our introductory conversation evolved into a discussion about technology and computational equipment, he proceeded to show me the bizarre surveillance equipment setup in his living establishment.
